    Gary Wayne Schau, 67, of Beckley, WV, passed away at 2:59 am, Thursday, November 5, 2020, at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.

    Deanna Sue Williams, 67, of Marietta passed away at 3:10 am, Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at Allegheny Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born on March 6, 1953, in Marietta a daughter of Oran Allen and Wilda Martin Eddy.
    Deanna had been employed in the medical field as a receptionist and was a member of the Evergreen Bible Church. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

    Lois Janet (Davis) Lonaker aged 88 years of Marietta passed away on Wednesday, November 4th 2020 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus Ohio.
    Lois was born in Marietta on January 1, 1932 to the late Emlin (Mike) and Helen (Flowers) Davis. Lois graduated from Vincent High School in 1949. Lois enjoyed spending time with her family, painting pictures and playing Scrabble.

  • Sallie Ann Stubbs Boord

    Sallie Ann Stubbs Boord, 79, beloved mother of Stacie and Stephen Boord, passed away on November 3, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, L. Stanley Boord.
    Sallie was born on February 5, 1941 in Cincinnati to Paul Stubbs and Vera Stubbs McCarty and was a graduate of New Richmond High School, Class of 1959. Sallie had a lifelong passion for learning and education. Stan and Sallie moved to Marietta, Ohio in 1975, and Sallie began her career as a teacher at Barlow-Vincent Elementary School in the Warren Local School District. She dearly loved her students and colleagues. Fellow teachers describe her as a caring and compassionate teacher, well-organized, with a bubbly personality that lit up the teacher’s lounge. Sallie was active in Marietta as a member of the First Congregational Church, Junior Reading Club, WDI, and served as chair of the environmental committee for Marietta’s Vision 2020 initiative.
