    Dorothy Ann Taylor Sayre, 87, of Marietta passed away August 11, 2020. She was born November 1, 1932 in Marietta, Ohio to Elmer Thomas Taylor and Rowena Elizabeth Hoskinson Taylor.
    She was a member of First Baptist Church, Adult Fellowship Class and Morning Glory Circle.

    Mary Lou Curfman, 86, of Williamstown passed away on August 7, 2020 at home with her family. She was born on January 18, 1934, in Williamstown a daughter of the late Edward and Esther Mayo Ritter.
    She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Curfman Shedlowski and daughter-in-law Debra Curfman; 4 grandchildren: Amanda (Joe) Hartley, Jeremy (Lucy) Curfman, Amy (Daryl) Sparks, Jessica (Ben) Shedlowski; 11 great grandchildren: Haley, Abby, and Courtney Harley, Wyatt, Allison and Natalie Curfman, CheyAnne Hart, Mary, Cora and Brody Sparks and Aleaha Bowers.

    Joyce Schultheis Garrison, 79, of Belpre, Ohio, died on Monday, August 3, 2020.
    Joyce was born to Robert V. Schultheis, Sr., and Grace Spindler. She grew up in the Norwood section of Marietta and graduated from Marietta High School. She married Donald Garrison on December 27, 1962. In her free time, she painted ceramics and attended the local arts and crafts shows. She could never pass up a good garage, church or estate sale. She remembered to send cards to everyone she knew—for holidays, birthdays, graduations and sympathy.

    John C. Parsons, 75, of Marietta, OH passed away at 11:34 am, Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born June 20, 1945, in Norfolk, VA, a son of Robert Haut and Elizabeth Ann Deem.
    John was a postal carrier in Williamstown, WV for 28 years. He was a member of Lynn Street Church of Christ in Parkersburg, WV. John was a Vietnam veteran and served in the U. S. Army for 8½ years. He was a member of VFW Post 5108 in Marietta and American Legion Post 15 in Parkersburg.
