  • Ruth Alice Reese Mollohan

    Ruth Alice Reese Mollohan, 86 of Waterford, Ohio, passed away at Marietta Memorial Hospital on April 16, 2020. She was born in Marietta, Ohio on September 2, 1933 to Glen Reese and Mabel Reese Hendrickson.
    She graduated from Waterford High School and then married her husband, Earl “Regis” Mollohan, on March 28, 1953. She enjoyed spending time working around the farm and spending time with her family. She loved talking about the “Old Times” and telling her grandkids how great they were. She shared many great memories on her porch with all her family from near and far.

  • Helen E. Adams

    Helen E. Adams, 85, of Marietta passed away on Wednesday (April 15, 2020) at The Arbors of Marietta.
    She was born on January 9, 1935, in Marietta a daughter of Harold and Irene Ladreire Knox. Helen was a homemaker.
    On September 26, 1953, she married Delmar Adams who preceded her in death on May 20, 2006. She is survived by 5 sons and 3 daughters: Robert Adams of Marietta, Delmar “Buddy” Elton Adams, Jr. of Rochester, MN, Mark Adams of Marietta, Eric (Susan) Adams of Daphne, AL, Nicholas (Jan) Adams of Marietta, Terrie (John) Burchett, Diane (Steve) Thomas and Debbie (Mike) Flanigan all of Marietta, 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, sister Carol Holstein of Toledo, OH and 2 dear friends.

    Gary E. “Bud” Warne, 78, of Marietta passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.
    Gary was born September 19, 1941, in Marietta a son of Joseph and Lillian Hill Warne. He was a 1959 graduate of Marietta High School, a Veteran of the U. S. Navy and had been employed by Marietta Memorial Hospital.

    Gary T. Ritchie, 77, of Marietta passed away Monday, April 13, 2020, at Heartland of Marietta. He was born August 20, 1942, in Marietta a son of Leslie “Les” and Myrtle Marietta Shears Ritchie.
    Gary was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He loved to talk…no one was a stranger to him. He loved to play his guitar and sing those country songs. He would sing and play his guitar for anyone for hours and hours. He loved it and was very good at it.

  • Marilyn June Carrel

    Marilyn June Carrel, 65, of Marietta died 10:55am, April 13, 2020 at Selby Hospital. She was born in Marietta on April 12, 1955 to the late Lawrence Jefferson and Genevieve (Starkey) Carrel. Marilyn was a 1973 graduate of Marietta High School and had worked as a receptionist for 45 years for Drs. Powell and Stickrath and continued on working for Drs. Danford and Tilton and later for Drs. Danford, Heiner and Johnson. Marilyn loved camping, working in her yard especially in her garden, and cooking. She was a member of the 6th and Washington Street Church of Christ.

  • William Cletis West

     
    William Cletis West, 94, of Marietta, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12th, 2020 at Heartland of Marietta. He was born on March 28, 1926 in Vickers, WV to Ivy West and Edna Harris West.
    He was a World War II veteran of the United States Army serving in the 813th 1st Allied Airborne Division, where he served in the European Theater with rank of Staff Sergeant. He participated in the Rhineland Campaign in central Europe and received an EAME Theater Ribbon with 2 Bronze Stars, a Victory Medal World War II, an Army of Occupation Medal Germany and a Good Conduct Medal.
