Marguerite Caldwell Phillips, 102, of Marietta passed away at 3:08 pm, Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at Waterview Pointe.
She was born September 13, 1918, in Pennsboro, WV, to Russell and Lily Jane Samples Caldwell. She was a homemaker.
Wayne Hendershot, 75, of Germantown passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born November 8, 1944 a son of Harold Elias and Ruth V. Roberts Hendershot.
Wayne had worked for Washington County Highway Department for over 30 years and retired in July of 1996 as a grader operator. He loved watching NASCAR and was a big Dale Earnhart fan. He also enjoyed playing music and hanging out with his friends and working on old vehicles.
On September 22, 2020, Pauline Louise McVay Brown of Front Royal, Virginia left her temporary home of 85 years and went to dwell in the House of the Lord forever. She died peacefully of natural causes. She was born in Marietta, Ohio on June 15, 1935 to the late Ollie C. McVay and Lina L. McCain McVay.
She graduated from Marietta High School in 1953 and married Paul Edward Brown of St. Marys, WV on February 6, 1955. She was employed in the offices of Marietta Concrete and then with Union Carbide (silicones) of Sistersville, WV.
Debra Ann Pryor, 68, of Marietta went home to be with her Lord on September 19, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father Bill Filibaum and her beloved husband Glenn “Woody” Pryor, Jr.

Bessie L. Martin Higgins, 78, of Marietta passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born in Belle, WV on May 21, 1942, to the late Basil and Goldie Martin.
Bessie graduated from Williamstown High School in 1960. She retired from Marietta Memorial Hospital where she worked as an IT operator for 26 ½ years. She was a member of Waverly Methodist Church.
Robert E. McAlarney, 92, of Whipple passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.
He was born January 30, 1928, in Akron, Ohio to Frank and Ruth Baker McAlarney. Bob was a tool and die maker for Clevite Corp for 36 years and he also farmed.
