Mashellda P. Gibbs, 63, of Marietta passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born August 22, 1955, in Covington, Virginia, a daughter of John Alfred and Pat Mahaney Alfred.
Mashellda retired from Washington County Jobs & Family Services where she was a fraud investigator. She was a member of Gilman United Methodist Church.
On April 10, 1979, she married Michael Gibbs who preceded her in death on March 21, 2011.
Geneva M. Brooks, 83, of Marietta passed away 7:40 pm October 30, 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born June 12, 1935 in St. Mary’s, WV to Joe and Gladys (Scadden) Paynter. Geneva was a homemaker and had obtained her GED in 1994. She loved to quilt, cook, and bake, but she especially loved to take care of her family. Geneva had recently been attending First Baptist Church in Marietta.
On July 6, 1951 she married Paul F. Brooks who preceded her in death on April 14, 1993.
Billie Estelle Stanley, 84 years, of Marietta, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. Billie was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on April 17, 1934, the daughter of the late Ferrell Conley and Naomi Rose (Miller) Conley Geisler.

Marsha Ann Sturm, 74 of Parkersburg passed away at 9:30 am, Saturday, October 27, 2018 at her home. She was born October 13, 1944, in Marietta to Harold Dexter Sturm and Betty Jean Lightfritz Sturm.
Marsha is survived by her daughter and 3 sons: Valerie A. (Bryan K. Wood, Jr.) Jefferson, John D. Sturm, Ethan I. Mullins, Jordan M. Sturm all of Parkersburg; grandchildren: Robert B. Sturm and Dillon T. Sturm, brother Don E. Lightfritz of Parkersburg and 2 sisters, Tina M. Thomas and Tara L. Lightfritz both of Marietta.

She was born January 15, 1925 in Waterford to Fred Muntz and Matilda Arnold Muntz. Leona is survived by her 2 brothers, Joseph Muntz of Marietta and Paul Muntz of Florida and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 4 brother and 3 sisters.
