    James Ray Maddox, 85, of Barlow passed away at 3:30 pm, Saturday, December 29, 2018, at his home. He was born June 12, 1933, in Parkersburg, WV, a son of George W. Maddox and Estella Robbins Maddox.
    Jim had been employed as Secretary/Treasurer at Bartlett Farmers Bank. He was Past Grand Master of Bartlett Masonic Lodge and a member for 50 years, member of Marietta Chapter 59 Eastern Star, Charter member of Scenic Hills Lions Cub, member Bartlett United Methodist Church and was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict.

  • Alda Cameron

    Alda Cameron, 71, of Marietta gained her wings Sunday, December 16, 2018, at Marietta Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born April 30, 1947, in Marietta to Warren and Goldie Stull who precedes her in death.
    On August 9, 1947, she married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Cameron who passed away in 2011. She spent most of her life working with Bob masking cars for him in various body shops. She enjoyed watching lifetime movies and Susan Graver on QVC. She also enjoyed shopping at Wal-Mart with her two nieces.

    Ann L. Hess, 68, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 15, 2018. Ann was born in Marietta Ohio to Dave and Louise Zimmer on September 22, 1950.
    Ann was a dedicated nurse and nurse anesthetist for 37 years working at Camden Clark Hospital, Saint Joseph Hospital and retiring from Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Sand Hill United Methodist Church in Boaz, West Virginia.
