    Joan May, 74, of Lowell, Ohio, went peacefully to be with our Lord on Thursday, March 20, 2014 after a short battle with cancer.  She was born in Washington, D. C., December 15, 1939, a daughter of Joseph and Lula Cookman Poe.  Joan served the Lord as a missionary in New Mexico to the Navajo Indians for 16 years until her marriage to Russell May in 1984.

    Clyde E. Cokeley, Jr. 77, former resident of Marietta passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, Ohio.  He was born September 3, 1936 to Clyde E. Cokeley, Sr. and Ethel McClure Cokeley.  Clyde was an Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War and a member of several veteran’s organizations.
