  • Robert Everett Emerick

    Robert Everett Emerick, 90, of Marietta passed away peacefully to be home with the Lord September 2, 2023. Born November 24, 1932, to the late Charles and Ruth (McCullough) Emerick.
    Bob was a graduate of Bloomfield High School in 1952. Remembered fondly by his friend Ward for scoring 36 points in one basketball game. He previously attended Muskingum Valley Baptist Church. He was a veteran serving in the Korean War and retired from the maintenance department at Fenton Art Glass.

    Ronald White Jr., 21, of Marietta left this world on Saturday, September 2, 2023 leaving behind his father, Ronald White Sr., of St. Marys, WV and mother, Jenny Robinson of Marietta OH. Also leaving behind Uncles and Aunts: Betty Beaver and Becky Colvin of Marietta, Richard and Angie Colvin, Sandy Price all of St. Marys, WV and several cousins and friends.
    Ronnie enjoyed on-line gaming, playing with cousins, making people laugh, cheering others up, he enjoyed working at Giant Eagle.

    Michael Miller, 68, of Marietta passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Riverside Landings in McConnelsville, OH.
    He was born on July 3, 1955 in Marietta a son of Gale Miller and Lois Chutes Parsons. Mike was a 1974 graduate of Marietta High School, had worked as an auto mechanic and was a member of the Army Reserves. He loved to hunt and fish and sports of all kinds.

  • Donna Lou Frazier Farley

    Donna Lou Frazier Farley, 88, of Marietta passed away at 9:47 pm, Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born in Marietta on January 31, 1935 to Ralph Frazier and Eva Irene Middleswartz Sprague.
    Donna graduated from Marietta High School and worked for the Marietta Police Department under her father-in-law Chief Thomas B. Sprague. She was later employed as a telephone operator for Ohio Bell retiring after many years.

    Carl L. Phillips, 78, of Williamstown passed away at his home at 3:44 am, Tuesday, August 29, 2023.
    He was born on March 10, 1945, in Summit, WV, a son of Homer and Fay Pugh Phillips.
    Carl was a member of the U. S. Army Reserves. He had been employed by Fenton Art Glass and was a Methodist by faith.

    Janice S. Gutberlet, 83, of Marietta passed away at 9:35 pm, Monday, August 28, 2023 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born May 15, 1940, in Marietta a daughter of Merle L. Heslop and Jessie I. Cronin Heslop.
    Janice has been employed at Marietta College in the Housekeeping Department and was a member of The Evergreen Bible Church.

    He was born on June 19, 1938 in Marietta a son of the late Raymond Waters and Elsie Scarberry Waters. He was a graduate of Marietta High School, Class of 1957 and had served in the U. S Army. He loved his job in the Grocery and Motel Management and enjoyed NASCAR and Football.
