    Michael Lee Kirkbride, 71, of Whipple passed away at 1:24am, Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Camden Clark Medical Center.
    He was born September 13, 1952, in Marietta to Wayne and Annabel Kirkbride Ullman. Mike was employed as a truck driver for William Ford Trucking.

  • Allan Jones

    Allan Jones, 77, of Marietta passed away on December 16, 2023 at his home.  He was born July 30, 1946 in Santa Monica, CA to Gordon and Alma (Milligan) Jones.
    Allen was a veteran of the United States Army and had served as a combat medic during the Vietnam War.  After his discharge Allan work as a nurse before becoming a manager for Gulf Oil and their gas stations.

  • June Rose Mobberly

    June Rose Mobberly, age 97, of Marietta Ohio passed away on December 14, 2023 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 29, 1926 at home in Rinard Mills Ohio and was the youngest daughter of the late George Edward Weckbacher and Florence Victoria (Wallace) Weckbacher. Her mother passed away when June was just 2-1/2 years old, and she was raised by her older siblings. She often remarked that their family was poor when measured by monetary wealth, but that they were rich when it came to love for each other and all of the brothers/sisters looked out for each other.

  • Harry Austin Murphy, Jr. “Bo”

    Harold A. Murphy Jr. “Bo”, 50, of Marietta Ohio passed away due to a motorcycle accident that took place in Florida on Wednesday night, December 13th, around 10:26pm.
    Bo was born in Columbus Ohio on July 23rd, 1973. He was the son of Harold “Skip” and Patricia (McKenzie) Murphy. He was a graduate of Dawson-Bryant High School in the year 1991.

  • Donald Eugene Mossack

    Donald Eugene Mossack went to heaven to join his parents, son Brad A. Mossack, and grandson Joshua Beaver on 12/09/2023. Don was born in East Palestine, Ohio on January 2, 1937 to the late Durrell & Zora (Wilson) Mossack. At the Lowell Christian Church on 4/25/58 Don was married to and is survived by Treva Lott Mossack. Don was blessed with two children. He is survived by daughter Cathy Mossack Beaver who brought her husband Jeff to Don as his ‘favorite son in law. His son Brad preceded Don on 6/10/98. Also surviving Don is his grandson Chad (Jenn) Beaver, his granddaughters Jansen Mossack & Jessica Mossack (Matthew) Fitzgerald, and also his great grandson Isaac Beaver & his mother Maureen.

    Linda Ann Seevers, 71, of Marietta passed away at 11:05 am, Saturday, December 9, 2023, at The Arbors at Marietta.
    She was born April 12, 1952 in Marietta a daughter of Paul and Olive Holshu Moore. Linda was employed as a Secretary for Marietta City Schools. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Singles and Doubles Class and a member of the Board of Deacons. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and taking care of animals.

  • Lucas Scott McVicar

    Lucas Scott McVicar, 22, of Marietta passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 9, 2023.
    Lucas was born in Marietta on May 6, 2001 a son of Scott and Ellen (Bonnette) McVicar. He was a 2019 graduate of Marietta High School. During high school Lucas worked for Giant Eagle, and after graduation worked for Promanco before going to work for Ascent Resources as an I & E Tech. Lucas enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing Flight Simulator, jet skiing, camp fires with his friends, going to concerts, driving his tractor and making deer jerky. He enjoyed repairing and reselling guns, working with his hands and fixing things and making people laugh. He loved his dogs: Casey, Bailey and Winston and spending time with his family and his girlfriend, Courtney and her family. Lucas took pride in caring for his truck, home and his country.
