    Albert Roy Carter, Sr. of Marietta, and a resident of Marietta Nursing & Rehab Center, passed away  peacefully at Marietta Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 30, 2010.
    He was one of several children born September 14, 1932, to the late Charles and Alena Carter.   . He worked for Elston Lumber Company for many years.
