    John C. Rollison, 84, of Marietta passed away at 3:00am, Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at his home.
    He was born November 23, 1940 in Marietta a son of Herman Rollison and Helen Enochs Rollison. John had been employed by Broughton’s Dairy and later for the Ohio Department of Transportation. He was a great father and he enjoyed farming.

    He graduated from Newport High School in 1956. He married Kay Reynolds on July 29, 1962. He worked at Big Bear until he retired.

  • Lynne Estelle Markley Wetzel Groves

    Lynne Estelle Markley Wetzel Groves, 82, passed from Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV and went Home to be with Jesus on Thursday, January 16, 2025. She was born on April 8, 1942 to Audrey and Ralph Orben Markley in Marietta, Ohio. She was a 1960 graduate of Marietta High School. Lynne married Tom Wetzel on February 10, 1961. She was the secretary to the principal at Marietta High School for over two decades. Lynne retired from the Marietta City School system after nearly thirty years of service. She was a member of Harbor Site Baptist Church where she served as Treasurer for 15 years.
