    Jeremy Neil Cassidy, 44 of Belpre, passed away at 10:07 pm Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Camden Clark Hospital. He was born on September 30, 1978 in Marietta to Neil Cassidy and Joyce Nolen Kapple.
    Jeremy was employed by Stonebridge Oil Field Services . He was a graduate of Marietta High School, Class of 1997, attended Washington County Career Center and was a member of MOVe Ministries. He was Assistant Fire Chief for Dunham Township Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mudding and helping others and was involved in his community.

    Jack Jewell Vaughn, 82, of Beverly OH passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 after a long illness. Jack was born on September 27, 1940 at Nelsonville, OH to R. Guy and Lena (Jewell) Vaughn.
    Jack was a devoted husband and father. He attended Gloucester, Claridon and Waterford schools. He lived most of his adult life in Washington County, OH. Jack enjoyed the outdoors and loved hunting, fishing, and studying birds and animals.

  • Flora L. Kampmeier

    Flora L. Kampmeier, 88, of Marietta passed away at Ellison Assisted Living on October 4, 2022. She was born September 29, 1934 in Marietta to Oscar W. and Luise (Ruhe) Kampmeier.
    Flora was a 1952 graduate of Marietta High School and in June of 1952 began her career for Washington County in the Title Bureau. She became the Washington County Clerk of Courts in September 1975 and continued that role until her retirement in December 1988. , Marietta, OH 45750.

  • Dora Brooks

    Dora Brooks, 93, of Marietta passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022, at Marietta Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on February 10, 1929 in Zehlendorf, Berlin, Germany to Viktor and Freda Gurski. She grew up in Berlin under Nazi rule, and also lived there through the duration of World War II. She remembered nearly everything and had countless stories to tell about that time.
    She came to the United States in February of 1948 and married her husband, George W. Brooks, that same month in Greenup, Kentucky. They made their home in Dart, Ohio and lived there for many years. He preceded her in death on November 4, 1980.

    William F. Bee, 71, of Marietta passed away at 4:08 pm, Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell.
    Bill was born on February 21, 1951 at Celina, OH to William E. and Marjorie A. Singer Bee. He retired in 2009 from Eramet maintenance department and was a member of the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption. He enjoyed many vacations with family and friends.

    Gerald E. Hill, 87, of Macksburg passed away at 6:15 am, Wednesday, September 28, 2022. He was born September 4, 1935 in Reno, OH, a son of Clifton A. and Wanda May Becker Hill.
    Gerald had been employed at Inter Lake Steel and Globe Metals. He was a graduate of Lowell High School, Class of 1953 and a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He attended the Waterford Church of the Nazarene and a member of Lowell American Legion Post 750. Gerald was a wonderful father and grandfather to many.
