  • Joslyn “Pookey” Loraine Trent

    Joslyn “Pookey” Loraine Trent, 19, of Marietta, tragically had her life taken from us March 3, 2022 in Camden Clark Medical Center.
    She was born October 5, 2002 in Marietta to Henry and Lori (Williams) Antill. Joslyn was a 2021 graduate of Warren High School and the Washington County Career Center with a degree in auto body. She was employed by The Arbors as a Facility Advocate and loved her patients and their families.

    Rosemary Treadway, 68, of Reno passed away at her home on Sunday, February 27, 2021.
    She was born May 17, 1953, in Marietta to Paul and Ruth Harris. Rosemary was a graduated in 1971 from Marietta High School. She spent 30 years as a hairdresser.

    Helen Elaine Miller (74) passed away suddenly, Friday, February 25, 2022.
    She was born January 10, 1948 the daughter of Albert & Lorraine (Binegar) Henke of Churchtown. She was a graduate of Fort Frye H.S class of 1966. She retired from Woolworths & Marietta Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed crocheting & cooking and spending time with family and friends. She had 2 fur babies that she loved dearly Stewie and Luckey. Helen was a member of the Basilica of St Mary of the Assumption.

    M. Louise Proctor, 87, of Marietta and formerly of Knoxville, TN passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. She was born November 15, 1934, in Washington County, Ohio, a daughter of William and Mary Boice Adams.
    Louise was a graduate of Marietta High School, Class 1953. She had been employed at Ohio State University as a Secretary and later as a Secretary for the U. S. Department of Agriculture. She and her husband retired to Knoxville. They enjoyed the Smokey Mountains. H

    Ada Lee Clatterbuck Hinton, 85, of Marietta passed away at 5:13 am, Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at her home.
    She was born June 6, 1936, in Virginia to David and Relda Henry Clatterbuck. Ada was retired The Lafayette Hotel where she worked in the dining room.

  • John Logan Thorniley, Jr.

    John Logan Thorniley, Jr., 98, of Reno passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
    John was born May 6, 1923 in Marietta, Ohio to John Logan Thorniley Sr. and Nan Alcock Thorniley. He graduated from Marietta High School in 1942. In 1948 he married Mary Elizabeth Phelps Thorniley, and after 55 years of marriage, Mary passed away in June of 2005. Also his half-sister Rosemary Chaffins of New Carlisle preceded him in death as did an infant son.

  • Michael David Henderhan

    Michael David Henderhan, 72, of Marietta, OH passed away on February 22, 2022. He was born on February 10, 1950 in Marietta, Ohio, son of Charles and Gail Henderhan.
    He was a graduate of Newport School, Class of 1968. In school he enjoyed playing saxophone in the band, playing on the basketball team and serving as class president. After graduation he joined the Marines and served in the Vietnam War as a sergeant. On October 31, 1975 he married the love of his life Judith Louetta Bartmess. He was employed as a carpenter and later as a millwright at Huntsman Chemical, from which he retired. He was an active member of the union.
