    Larry was a beloved husband of 52 years to his wife Mary Lou Ritchie. He was a treasured father to sons Larry Ritchie, Jr. (Diana Kasperek) of Columbus and Andy (Amanda) Ritchie of Marietta.

    Edna Louise Clark Barnett (Windy), 97 of Marietta, Oh, died on Saturday March 26, 2022 at Waterview Pointe Nursing Home in Marietta. She was born on May 14, 1924 in Middleburg, OH, Noble County to Walter and Bertha Clark.
    On May 17, 1942 she wed the love of her life Emil E Barnett who preceded her in death, Oct. 19, 2001.

    Beth E. Thompson, 52, of Marietta passed away at 6:56 am, Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born October 7, 1969, in Parkersburg a daughter of the late Robert Carvell and Lois Hickman Carvell of Parkersburg.
    Beth had been employed as a medical assistant at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was a graduate of Parkersburg South High School and Washington State Community College.

  • Garry L. Silvus

    Garry L. Silvus, 76, of Marietta, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022. He was born on March 31, 1945, to the late William C. and Eunice C. Welch Silvus.
    Garry was a graduate of Fort Frye High School and had served in the Ohio National Guard. He worked for almost 50 years at Globe Metallurgical before retiring. Garry loved and defended his family. He was a restrained and private person but would have spontaneous moments of dancing or say something to make you laugh or take notice. He was a great handyman, woodworker, and builder. Despite being reluctant to the idea, he fell in love with the family cats and often referred to them as “the kids.” Garry loved food and fishing. So, remember him by eating a cookie or casting a line!
