  • Walter “Dutch” Rinard

    Walter “Dutch” Rinard, 90, of Rinard Mills died October 27, 2021 at The Arbors at Marietta. Walter was born at Rinard Mills, Ohio, September 2, 1931 on the Rinard Family Farm to Wilbert and Reah Ludington Rinard.
    He graduated from Ludlow High School, Class of 1949. He was employed at River Gas Company for 32 years. He was involved in the Oil and Gas Business and operated the Rinard Family Farm with his wife, Joan Bowser Rinard whom he married May 28, 1949.

  • Donna “Jean” Anderson

    Donna “Jean” Anderson, 79, of Fleming, OH, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at her home.
    Jean was born January 21, 1942, in Marietta a daughter of Wayne and Inez Petty Guckert. She was retired from American Cyanamid.
    Jean married Roscoe F. Anderson who preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Ray (Suzette Tranberg) Stevens of Fleming and daughter Jodi (John) Morrison of Marietta; 4 grandchildren: Ross, Jacob, Maclane and Christopher Stevens; sister Nancy Hill and 5 great grandchildren.

    Gerald A. Erb, 76, of Reno passed away at 7:02 am, Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
    He was born February 27, 1945, in Marietta to Ruben Phillip D. Erb and Letty Marie James Erb. Gerald was retired from Laborers Union #639.

  • Carolyn Lois Lee

    Carolyn Lois Lee, 97, of Marietta passed away at 8:34 am, Thursday, October 21, 2021, at The Inn at Summit Trail in Columbus, OH. She was born December 10, 1923, in Zanesville to Martin L. and Grace Earich Young.
    Carolyn had been employed as a Deputy Auditor for Washington County. She was a member of Gilman United Methodist Church. Carolyn was an avid quilter. If anyone has one of her quilts, the family would appreciate it if you would bring it to the service for display. She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carolyn enjoyed all sports, especially bowling and playing ping-pong.

  • Clara Ruth Freeland Burge

    Clara Ruth Freeland Burge, 86, died peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on October 21, 2021.
    She was born March 16, 1935, the daughter of the late George Lester and Ethel Remmy Freeland. She was raised in the Children’s Home and then went on to be a Candy-Striper at the old Selby General Hospital. She later worked in home health.
