    Betty Ann Wagner Miller, 90 of Middleton Senior Living in Granville, Oh went home to be with her Savior, Jesus on October 5, 2021. Betty was born April 25,1931 in Leatherbark, WV to Willard and Mildred Anderson. After starting in a one room school in Calhoun County, WV, her family moved to Waterford where she graduated from Waterford High School. After graduation she married Wilmer Dow Wagner where they raised their two sons in Watertown. She taught Sunday School for many years and volunteered at Wood County Christian School. Her other hobbies included spending time with family, exercising, walking, and bible study.

    Lenora E. Farley, 79, of Marietta passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born January 30, 1942 in Marietta to Brasky and Bertha Opal (McIntire) Casto, Sr.
    Lenora had retired from Fenton Art Glass after many years of service. She liked reading, quilting and spending time with family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

    Donna S. Butler, 77, of Cornerville passed away at 7:00 pm, Friday, October 1, 2021, at home surrounded by family. She was born December 11, 1943, in Marietta a daughter of Clarence and Lavina McFarland Isner.
    Donna began her career as a legal secretary for Davidson Heckler & Riggs, then after a break to raise her family, re-entered the work force in the insurance field working at John Barry Insurance and later at McDonaugh-Caperton Insurance, Schultheis Insurance and eventually retiring from United Security Agency. She was involved in her children’s activities, was a member of Ladies Civitan, an active member of 6th & Washington Streets Church of Christ. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends and morning coffee with her McClub friends.

  • Nancy Lee (Schwartz) O’Dell

    Nancy Lee (Schwartz) O’Dell, 72, of Marietta, Ohio, passed away on September 21, 2021, following a brief illness. Ms. O’Dell was born in Marietta, Ohio on December 17, 1948 to Henry and Bernice Schwartz. She graduated from Marietta High School in 1966, where she played coronet in the band. She also attended Christ United Methodist Church and was active in the youth group and choir, often serving as a piano accompanist. Ms. O’Dell attended Marietta College for two years before she transferred to Scarritt College for Christian Workers in Nashville, Tennessee, graduating in 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in religious education. She subsequently enrolled in the Methodist Theological School in Delaware, Ohio, graduating with a Master of Theological Studies in 1972 and a Master of Divinity in 1973. She was ordained as both a deacon and an elder in the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church, and was one of the first two women in Ohio ordained as a minister by the United Methodist Church. She served as the Director of Education at Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, Reynoldsburg, Ohio; worked as a District Program Assistant for the West Ohio Conference, Lancaster, Ohio; and served as a minister at Pickerington United Methodist Church, Pickerington, Ohio.
