    Ronald Lewis Stanley, 72, of Marietta passed away at 1910, Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born March 5, 1949, in North Springs, WV a son of Jacob Lewis and Zelma Stanley.
    Ron was a truck driver for Wetz Transportation and after retirement worked for Community Action. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a member of VFW Post 5108.

  • Cathy Jo Daugherty

    Cathy Jo Daugherty, 67, of Marietta, Ohio, passed away October 12, 2021, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 22, 1954, in Marietta to Earl M. and Audrey I. Rutherford Hill.
    Cathy enjoyed family get-togethers, talking about “the good ol’ days,” drives in the country, Karaoke and singing. But most of all she adored her children and grandchildren. Cathy will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was a member of the Elks 477 and VFW Post 5108 auxiliary.

    Leonard R. Stevens, 89, of Marietta passed away 11:52 am, Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
    He was born May 24, 1932, in Marietta a son of Raymond Stevens and Mabel Morgan Stevens. He was a veteran serving in the U. S. Air Force for 13 years and then was employed by Elston Lumber Company until his retirement.

    Joan Rinard, 90, of Rinard Mills died October 8, 2021, at Heartland of Marietta.
    Joan was born at Worthington, PA, September 26, 1931, daughter of Charles and Alice Gaiser Bowser. Joan graduated from Ludlow High School, Class of 1949.
    She married Walter Rinard on May 28, 1949. She was a housewife and a farmer’s wife. She was a member of Muskingum Baptist Church since 1946 and Secretary and Treasurer of Muskingum Valley Baptist Ministries and Sunday School. Member of Eastern Star 584 and Ludlow Community Club.

    Shirley Wilma Weckbacher, 83, of Marietta passed away at home after a long battle with dementia on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Born on March 21, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Ferman and Garnet (Kendall) Miller. She graduated Salem Liberty High School in 1956 and March 29, 1958 married Dale Weckbacher . Shirley was also a member of the VFW and Lowell Moose.

  • Betty Ann Wagner Miller

    Betty Ann Wagner Miller, 90 of Middleton Senior Living in Granville, Oh went home to be with her Savior, Jesus on October 5, 2021. Betty was born April 25,1931 in Leatherbark, WV to Willard and Mildred Anderson. After starting in a one room school in Calhoun County, WV, her family moved to Waterford where she graduated from Waterford High School. After graduation she married Wilmer Dow Wagner where they raised their two sons in Watertown. She taught Sunday School for many years and volunteered at Wood County Christian School. Her other hobbies included spending time with family, exercising, walking, and bible study.
