    Betty Dean Davis, 87, of Marietta passed away at 2:58 am, Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at her home.
    She was born October 31, 1933, in Leola Arkansas to Clyde Raymond and Gladys Eula Reeves. Betty was a homemaker. She enjoyed her grandchildren and enjoyed camping,

    He was born December 4, 1934, in Marietta a son of Ernest and Jennie Abbot Friend. Irving had been employed at Fenton Art Glass and Elston Lumber.

    Ruth A. Schrader Kuhn, 86, of Marietta passed away at 7:00 am, Monday, August 23, 2021. She was born December 23, 1934, in Marietta a daughter of Leo Chester Schrader and Mary R. McGrew Schrader.
    Ruth graduated from Marietta High School, Class of 1952. She had been employed at Otto Brothers, Marietta Wholesale Grocery and East Lawn Memorial Park. She was an avid shopper, enjoyed playing Bingo and won several “powder puff” stockcar races.

  • Harold Jarrett

    Harold Jarrett, 80, of Beverly passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021.
    He is survived by his wife, Judy Nunn Jarrett and 3 stepchildren: Shelia Clavier, Mike Lucas and Robert Lucas. Harold was a veteran of the U. S. Army where he received a marksman metal.
    At his request, he was cremated and there will be no services at this time. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home assisted the family.

    John E. Fryman, 81, of Vincent passed away at 4:20am, Friday, August 13, 2021, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born in Marietta on May 8, 1940, a son of Comer Fryman, Sr. and Pearl Oliver Fryman.
    John was a 62-year member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 168, a veteran of the U. S. Army, a member of: American Legion Post 64, Loyal Order of Moose and Belpre Masonic Lodge.

  • Roy E. Littleton, Sr.

    Roy E. Littleton, Sr., 83, of Marietta passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021, at his home. He was born August 30, 1937, in Marietta a son of David Henry Littleton and Nina Roberta Schafer Littleton.
    Roy attended Marietta High School and served in the U. S. Army. He was a mail carrier for the U. S. Post Office for 30 years until his retirement in 1992. He was an avid woodworker and was a “Jack of all trades.” He was a member of the American Legion and a life member of the V.F.W.

    Vernon E. Ault, 87, of Marietta passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at 8:24 pm at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born January 25, 1934, in Monroe County, Ohio a son of Alvin A. and Amanda Ady Ault.
    Vernon was plant manager for J.M. Smucker Company and after his retirement was a long haul truck driver. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army during the Korean War and a member of Marietta Reno Church of Christ.
