Ashlee Jane Scott

Ashlee Jane Scott, 38, of Williamstown, passed away at 5:30 am on Sunday, October 11, 2009, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

She was born on February 12, 1971, in Marietta, a daughter of Richard Scott and Lucy Roberts Scott.  Ashlee was a dental hygienist for Dr. Gordon McCarthy.  She was a graduate of Williamstown High School class of 1989, West Liberty State College with a Bachelor of Science degree-Biology with a minor in Chemistry.  She had worked for Kemron Environmental.  She graduated from WVU as a Dental Hygienist, first in her class.  She was a member of Gilman United Methodist Church, Williamstown Legion Auxiliary and was a consultant for Beauty Control.

Ashlee is survived by her parents, brother Robert Scott of Williamstown, grandparents Robert and Jane Scott, 3 aunts:  Jill (Gus) Poldemann, Becky Scott, Sheila (Mark) Zeune, special friend Tom Lauer, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (October 16th) at 1:00 pm at Gilman United Methodist Church with Reverend Diann O’Bryant officiating.  Cremation will follow with private burial services at the convenience of the family.  Friends may call at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home beginning on Wednesday at 6:00.  Family will be present from 6-8 and on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 and at the church on Friday at 12:00 noon.
