Avalene McMahan Schultheis
Avalene Goodnight McMahon Schultheis, 99, passed away peacefully on April 26,2023.
She was born on September 26, 1923 to the late Charles and Sarah Goodnight. Avalene was employed by Memorial Health Systems until her retirement and was a member of the Marietta First Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Elmer McMahon and Darrel Schultheis, son Michael McMahon, and granddaughter Andrea Bonnette.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Bonnette, granddaughters Michele McMahon and Amy (Mark) Beardmore, great-grandchildren Adam (Sara) McMahon, Kaela Masen, Alexis (John) Schafrath, Dylan Beardmore, Alison Beardmore, and Brandon Beardmore, great great-grandchildren Evan McMahon, Maci McMahon, Damian Schafrath, Sophia Beardmore, and Alexis Buehman, and great great great-grandson Ky’son Buehman.
Per her wishes, there will be no services. The family would like to thanks the Washington County Home for the care they provided Avalene.
