Barbara A. Cobb

Barbara A. Cobb, 67, of Waterford, passed away at 7:20 pm on Thursday, May 13, 2010, at Muskingum Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Beverly.

She was born on March 25, 1943, a daughter of Esther May Thomas. Barbara was a nurse assistant.

She married John Cobb who survives with 1 son and 2 daughters: Shawn Farnsworth of Macksburg, Jacqueline Starkey of Marietta, Michelle (Richard) McAtee of Waterford; 14 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren on the way. Also surviving are 1 brother and 1 sister: Richard Farnsworth and Helen Farnsworth.

She was preceded in death by her mother, son John Cobb, 1 brother and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Monday (May 17th) at 1:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in Newport Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 pm on Sunday with family present from 2-4 and 6-8.
