Bessie Crawford Seevers

Bessie Crawford Seevers, age 92, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2013 at Harmar Place in Marietta, Ohio. She was born in Plantsville, Ohio on September 12, 1920. Bessie was an alumni of the Ohio School for the Deaf.

She is survived by two sons from her first marriage, Joe (Bert) Crawford and Larry (Cathy) Crawford of Lancaster, Ohio; sister Dorothy Beidenbach (Robert) of Beverly, Ohio; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her caregiver and friend, Katie Keating, and all the wonderful staff of Harmar Place where she has resided for over 10 years.

Preceding her in death are her parents John and Dora Ellis Starling; husbands Earl Crawford and Lewis Seevers; brothers Ray Ellis and Frank Starling; and sister Gladys Drake.
