Betty Carol Gaskins

Betty Carol Gaskins, 96, of Marietta passed away at 1:15 pm, Saturday, March 9, 2024 at The Arbors.

She was born September 10, 1927, in Braxton County, WV, daughter of James Young and Rebecca Bell Stalnaker Young. Betty had been employed at Marietta Memorial Hospital as a Nurse’s Aide.

She married David Keith Gaskins who preceded her in death. Betty is survived by her daughters, Linda Grimm of California and Sheila Hutton of Vienna, her son Mark (Melanie) Gaskins of Pennsylvania, 12 grandchildren: Daniel, Matthew, Tonya, Priscilla, Heather, Debbie, Scott, Christian, Ryan, Anthony, Cheryl and Joshua and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday (Mar. 14) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Letart Falls, Ohio. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-6 and 6-8 and one hour before the service. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
