Betty E. McBride

Betty E. McBride, 68, of Marietta, passed away at 5:00 am on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at her home.

She was born on December 25, 1943, in Marietta a daughter of Bernard James and Thelma Ruth Stewart Grady. She was a homemaker and attended Gilman United Methodist Church as a child.

Betty is survived by 3 daughters: Sherry Ellen (James) Leach, Bobbi Jo Thomas, and Misty Dawn McBride all of Marietta; grandchildren: Adriana Thomas, Jaden Leach, Tiernan Hensler, Ashley Dye, Stephaney Leach, and Tanner Leach. She is also survived by 1 brother and 2 sisters: Clarence Grady, Sharon Johnson, Charlotte Craig all of Marietta.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Terri McBride, 4 brothers: Charles, Gary, Jack and Patrick Grady and sister Deloris Grady.

Funeral services will be held on Monday (May 21) at 2:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday after 11:00 am until the hour of the service. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.mslfuneralhome.com.
