Betty L. Padgitt

Betty L. Padgitt, 82, of Marietta went to be with her Lord at 7:56 am on Monday, April 30, 2012, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born on March 2, 1930, in Lowell a daughter of Milton and Nola Crock Hopp. She was a homemaker.

On June 6, 1947, she married Eugene Padgitt who preceded her in death on June 20, 1995.

Betty is survived by 2 sons, David (Mary) Padgitt and Ron (Brenda) Padgitt both of Marietta; 4 grandchildren: Sheri Beardsley of Marietta, Margo (Rodney) West of Lowell, R. J. (Laura) Padgitt of Columbus, Brianna Padgitt of Marietta; 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters and 1 brother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 2 brothers.

No calling hours will be observed and private memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements
