Bonnie Jean Boley
Bonnie Jean Boley, 94, of Marietta peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026. She was born in Washington County, OH, the youngest of 12 children to Tessie Kuhn Fulton and Nicholas Fulton.
Bonnie graduated from Lower Salem High School in 1949. She was a member of the Reno Sandhill Methodist Church. She retired from Marietta Memorial Hospital. On April 25, 1951, she was married to Lafayette Boley who preceded her in death.
Bonnie will be remembered for her “green thumb,” love of baking (esp. brownies and pies) and playing cards, bingo and visits with family and friends.
Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Virginia Becker, Christine (Gerry) Bergan and Cheryl (David) Burgess; grandchildren: Bryan (Kate) Starcher, Alisha (Jeremy) Cross, Scott Becker, Shanna Becker, Stacey Burgess and Jon Burgess; great grandson: Russell and William Starcher, Sean Cross and great granddaughter Ashley Cross and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sisters, Virginia Fulton, Violet Biehl, Gertrude Lauer, Ethel Wasson and Betty Schoeppner and brothers: Ernest, Homer, Herbert, Leonard, Leroy, David and son-in-law Stanley Becker.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday (Aug. 6) at 11:00 am at McClure Schafer Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in East Lawn Memorial Park. Family will greet friends before the service from 9:00 until 11:00. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
