Calvin H. Ritchie

Calvin H. Ritchie, 94, of Marietta west to be with the Lord on November 21, 2018. He was born December 21, 1923 to Wade and Ethel (Park) Ritchie in Constitution.

He served in the US Army Air Corp from 1943 to 1946 and during WWII he was stationed in the South Pacific. Calvin retired from BF Goodrich after 30 years of service. He enjoyed being with family and friends and going to the VFW playing music and dancing. Calvin also loved spending time with his fur babies Thor and Biscuit.

He is survived by sons Warren Ritchie, Brian Ritchie and Chris Friend all of Marietta. Also surviving are grandchildren Cheryl Huff (Phil), Carol Belle, Chris Sprague (Virginia) all of Marietta, Jessica Ritchie (Justin) of Elmira NY, Steve Phillips (Denise) of Cayuta, NY, Connie Stevens (Joe) of Tioga, PA, Adam Sudnik and Adien Friend both of Cutler and Scotty Ritchie and Teresa Meunier both of Marietta , 18 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren and a sister Nancy McBride.

In addition to his parents Calvin was preceded in death by his wife Leona Ritchie, brothers Bob, Clyde and Bernard, sisters Maysle and Ilene , brother William Parke, a son Floyd Stevens, daughters-in-law Jackie Stevens, Debbie Ritchie and Wendy Sudnik and grandchildren Craig and Teresa Stevens, Hunter Michael Ritchie, 2 great grand grandchildren Tyler Domino and Krissy Noland.

Private services will be held and the convenience of the family. Calvin will be entombed with his wife at East Lawn Memorial Park. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
