Carol Jane Eros
Carol Jane Eros, 75, of Marietta, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the Heartland Nursing Home.
Born November 19,1936 in Wheeling, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Louis J. and Beatrice E. Porter Eros. She was a baptized Methodist. A member of the National Honor Society, Carol graduated from Marietta High School in 1954. She was a cashier at the Marietta Food Center for 40 years before her retirement.
Carol is survived by her older brother, Donald E. Eros, and sister-in-law Virginia; younger brother, Earnest A. Eros, and sister-in-law Mary J.; four nephews, David, John, Mark, and Louis Eros; two nieces, Angie Baldwin and Shannon Curran.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and brother, Louis S. Eros.
A special thank you from Carol's family to the Nursing Home and Hospice for her care leading up to her passing.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (May 30) at 10:00am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in East Lawn Memorial Park.
