Carolyn Thrasher Jordan
Carolyn Thrasher Jordan, 69, of Williamstown passed away at 10:56 pm, Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 13, 1949, in Marietta a daughter of Clarence Thrasher and Edna Jones Thrasher. Carolyn had been a cook in various health care facilities in the area.
She was preceded in death by her husband Junior Jordan in 2006. Carolyn is survived by 5 sisters and 2 brothers: Marie McKena, Margaret Fryman, Ruth Cline, Diane Sciance, Janice Richards, Ronnie Thrasher, Donald Thrasher and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings: Mary Ann Boley, Katie Mankins, Dorothy Griffin, Bob Thrasher, Leroy Thrasher and Kenny Thrasher.
Funeral services will be held on Monday (Oct. 22) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. Family will greet friends Monday before the service from 9:00 until 11:00. Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.Lankfordfh.com.
