Catherine M. Thrasher

Catherine M. Thrasher, 65, of Vienna, WV, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at Heartland of Marietta. She was born on May 6, 1948, in Washington County to Harry and Elizabeth Thrasher. She had been employed by the Marietta City School Board and earlier at The Wagon Wheel.

Catherine is survived by 2 sons, Kenneth Patterson and Keith (Sandy) Patterson both of Marietta, 3 grandchildren, boy friend Tommy Nichols, 2 sisters, Rosie Simmons of Elyria and Doris Lightfritz of Marietta, brother Dale Thrasher of Felicity, OH and close friend Bob West.

She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

Private funeral services will be held on Friday (Jan. 3) at 2:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in Rake Cemetery. Private visitation will be on Thursday after 2:00pm with family present from 2-4 & 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.lankfordfh.com.
