Charles M. Wasson

Charles M. Wasson, 91, of Macksburg, OH, passed away at 3:38 pm, Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born November 7, 1928, in West Virginia a son of David E. and Ethel Fulton Wasson.

Charles was employed as an electrician with I.B.E.W. Local 972 and was a member of Macksburg Masonic Lodge for 65 years.

On December 24, 1946, he married Ruth B. Fulton who preceded him in death October 7, 2010. He is survived by 3 daughters: Janie (Richard) Montgomery of Dover, OH, Roxie (Don) Grant of Parkersburg, WV, Nancy (Paul) Dillon of Apple Creek, OH; 3 grandchildren: Joyce Feutz, Melinda Bailey and Angela Crowe; 5 great grandchildren: Dalton, Trevor, Alicia, Alison and Cutter and his brother William Wasson of Longmont, CO.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Verna Wasson and 2 brothers, Frederick and Samuel Wasson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday (June 12) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Salem Township Cemetery.
