Charlie Champagne
Charlie Champagne, 43 of Belpre, OH passed away on January 17th, 2026 at Country View Manor.
Charlie was nonverbal, yet he had a remarkable ability to light up a room with the twinkle in his eyes and his infectious smile. He was known for a welcoming heart and never met a stranger. Charlie found joy in his musical instruments and sharing his happiness with everyone around him.
Charlie touched the lives of many within the HAVAR family and WASCO staff, leaving behind memories that will be cherished forever. He is survived by his longtime roommate “best brother” TB.
Charlie was preceded in death by one of his longtime and devoted caregivers, Rod Ramsey known as “Papa Rod”. The bond they shared was truly special and unlike any other.
Graveside service to follow in Rockland Cemetery, Belpre, Ohio. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
