Cheryl Ann VanWey

Cheryl Ann VanWey, 65, of Marietta passed away at home on Thursday, May 2, 2024. She was born January 28, 1959, in Marietta daughter of the late Billy L. and J. Diane Britton VanWey. She retired from Selby Hospital in August, 2016 after 38 years of service.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda D. Sciance (Daniel Camp) of Washington, WV; 3 step daughters: Debbie Huddleston, Pam Sciance both of Marietta and Kristin Stout of Hackney, OH; grandchildren: Arrianna and Kendrick VanWey of Belpre; step grandchildren: Brock, Gage, Draven, Ian, Vada, Shayla, Lilah, Coulson, Devin, Lanay, Mathew and Katlyn; sisters: Kathleen (Frank) Schneider, Tammy (Bobby) Shuman, Lisa (Danny) Lemley and brother William VanWey and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by both parents, companion Darrell Sciance, daughter Danielle A. VanWey and one brother Brian VanWey, sister-in-law Kimberly Burton-VanWey.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (May 7) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home followed by cremation. Family will greet friends on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
