Cheryl “Cheri” French Thacker
Cheryl “Cheri” French Thacker, 58, of Marietta went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the home of her parents, Roger and Kathleen French of Marietta. Cheri was born on June 4, 1956, in Marietta and graduated from Marietta High School in 1974. She was employed at Amanda Marshall State Farm Insurance Agency.
On June 4, 1976, she married David Thacker who survives with 2 children: David J. “DJ” (Elizabeth) Thacker and Kaylea (Josh) Morton; 4 grandchildren: Treavor, Brenson, Xander, Malachi; 2 step grandchildren, Kaleigh, and Logan; her parents and 3 siblings: Steve (Norma) French, Jeff French, Kristina (Dean) Propes.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (April 16) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon after 3:00. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
