Clara I. Miller
Clara I. Miller, 84, formerly of Reno passed away at 2:50pm, Friday, October 2, 2015, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born September 24, 1931, in Williamstown a daughter of the late Charles and June Wiggins Pugh.
Clara graduated from Williamstown High School and retired from the Marietta City Schools. She loved to race Go Carts.
On June 18, 1948, she married James F. Miller who passed away September 29, 1980. Clara is survived by 2 daughters, Donna (Daniel) Meyers of Kailua, HI and Sharon Stoddard of Port St. Lucie, FL; 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brother Charles Pugh of Williamstown and daughter-in-law Vicki Miller of St. Marys, WV.
Her son Charles F. “Chuck” Miller, who died in 2013, and brother Robert Pugh preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (Oct. 9) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with interment in East Lawn Memorial Park. The family will greet friends on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 at the funeral home. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
