Clarence Emil Piatt

Clarence Emil Piatt, 96, of Rinard Mills passed away at 5:08 pm, Saturday, December 14, 2019, at The Arbors of Woodsfield. He was born June 3, 1923, in Rinard Mills to Thurman and Phena Jane Nalley Piatt.

Clarence had been employed by River Gas Company until his retirement in 1984 and was a farmer and school bus driver.

He married Anna Evelyn Haney who survives with one son and two daughters: Roger Dean (Dorothy) Piatt of Graysville, Donna Jean (Kenneth) Rinard of Clyde, OH, and Wanda Eileen (Dale) Fleeman of Dalzell; 8 grandchildren: Judy and Terry Springer, Tammy and Dave Haslam, Jeffrey Piatt, Kathy and Doug Crall, Dwayne and Carolyn Rinard, Rebecca and Bryan Liskai, Rusty and Missey Fleeman, Michael and Miranda Fleeman; 9 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He is also survived by 2 sisters, Mabel Dillon and Ruth Lisk.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 7 brothers: Charles, Forest, Harry, Heber, Carl, Lester, Ray Loren; 2 brothers-in-law: Junior Lisk and Ralph Dillon and daughter-in-law Shirley Piatt.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Dec. 18) at 11:00 am McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ Cemetery.
