Clayton Glen Pryor

Clayton Glen Pryor, 84, passed away on December 10, 2009. He was born January 1, 1925, in Morgan County. 

He was the son of the late Hezakiah Jr. and May Belle Barnhouse Pryor.

On March 12, 1955, he married Ruby Adams in Marietta, Ohio by Rev. Charles Pindar at his home. Clayton worked as a farmer, at Marietta Concrete-building silos across the country, and at Elkem, where he retired March 1, 1986. He attended Warren Presbyterian Church and later attended Bethel Lighthouse.

He is survived by his wife Ruby, 2 daughters Cynthia and her husband Terry Russell of Marietta, Karen and her husband Randy Styer of Marietta, 5 grandchildren, Terry (LaToya) Russell, Clairesa (Thomas) Donahue, Clay, Emily, and Tiffany Styer, 5 great-grandchildren, Allen and Annabell Russell, Sidney Barnhouse, Abriella Donahue, Jacoby Chase Offenberger of Virginia. He is also survived by 2 brothers Dana Pryor and Donald Pryor.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Charlotte Pryor Blessing, and Faye Pryor.

Funeral services will be held on Monday (December 14th) at 1:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Drake officiating.  Burial will be in Valley Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 on Sunday afternoon.
