Delbert G. Shaffer, Jr.
Delbert Glen Shaffer, Jr., 67, of Marietta, passed away October 2, 2011 in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born April 28, 1944 at Warren, Ohio to the late Delbert G. and Helen Delphine Shaffer. Delbert had served in the US Navy and was a Vietnam veteran. He had worked as a truck driver and at Cox Printing.
Surviving are sons Delbert G. (Ella), Shaffer, III, and Larry Shaffer, and a grandson Delbert G. Shaffer IV. Also surviving is a sister Shirley Peterson a niece and nephew, a several great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Thursday October 6th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 pm Wednesday.
