Dimmie L. Turner

Dimmie L. Turner, 88, of Marietta, passed away at 7:48am on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at Marietta Center.

She was born on December 13, 1923, in Brownsville, Ohio, to Franklin and Belinda Hill. Dimmie retired from J. C. Penney’s Company, was a member of Harmar Hill Church of Christ, a member of O’Neill Senior Center and the Crafters at the Center.

On April 3, 1943, she married Donald E. Turner who preceded her in death on April 6, 2001.

She is survived by her daughter Tawnya (Stan) Clanton of St. Claire Shores, MI, and son Rick (Marlene) Turner of Williamstown, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Randy Turner, grandson Shawn Clanton, and 2 brothers George and Arch Hill.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (May 18) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in East Lawn Memorial Park.
