Donald Edward Hansen

Donald Edward Hansen, 73, of Marietta passed away at 9:18 pm on Friday, February 28, 2014, at Harmar Place. He was born on April 6, 1940, on the family farm in Churchtown, a son the late Anna Aquinas Emge Hansen and Donald William Hansen. Don was an asbestos worker for Local Union 80. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Korean War and enjoyed repairing and restoring old cars.

Don is survived by his wife Kay Ritchie Hansen, 3 sons and 1 daughter: Dennis Johnson Hansen of St. Marys, Donald Anthony Hansen of Texas, David Aaron Hansen of Marietta, Dana Ritchie of Statesville, North Carolina, 4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, step-mother Phyllis Gregory, 2 half brothers and 4 half sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with entombment in East Lawn Memorial Park with full military honors.
