Earl L. “Butch” McIntyre
Earl L. “Butch” McIntyre, Jr. 84, of Lowell, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026. He was born on January 11, 1942, in Parkersburg, WV, a son of Earl L. McIntyre, Sr. and Eudora Lent McIntyre.
Earl worked as an electrician for O Ames for 28 ½ years. He was a member of the Grand Lodge of West Virginia AF&AM and Williamstown Lodge #129.
On May 1, 1950, he married Karen Matheny who survives with children: Leslie (Steven) McIntyre of Marietta, Fr. Tim Huffman of Steubenville, Lori Suzanne (Ernie) Rummer of Lowell, Lantz Scott (Patricia) McIntyre of Marietta and Mark Aaron McIntyre of Marietta; grandchildren: Brandon, Lauren, Jessica, Ashley, Tiffany, Brittany, Taylor, Teya, Kyrstin, Kaitlyn, and Tavian; 25 great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and his sister Rita Fisher.
Earl is preceded in death by his parents and 5 brothers and his sister.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Aug.26) at 4:00 pm at McClure-Schafer Lankford Funeral Home. Family will greet friends before the service from 2:00 until the time of the service. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
