Ella Joanne Grayson, 72 of the Washington County Home, passed away Wednesday August 28, 2013 at 2:13 pm in Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 26,1940 to Julius and Irene Leak. On September 26,1956 she married Charles Raymond Grayson.

Ella is survived by three daughters and two sons; Debbie (Chris) Kephart, Gina Weinstock, Stephanie (David) Townsend, Charles Alan (Barb) Grayson, and Sandy Grayson (friend, Tanya Sparks). Ella was very close to her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and watching the birds outside the window. Some of her cooking specialties were cinnamon rolls, hot rolls, and chicken and noodles (just to name a few) that were all made from scratch. Her grandchildren would tell you, no one could ever compare to grandma's home cooking!! Ella also loved to tell all of her childhood stories about growing up and things that she use to do as a kid, that usually ended up in some sort of laughter. She was always very strong, opinionated, happy woman and full of lots of love and her memory will never ever be forgotten.

Ella was preceded in death by her parents (Julius & Irene Leak), two brothers (Harold & Gary Leak), husband (Charles Grayson), and grandson (Chance Grayson).
