Ernestine L. Laskey
Ernestine L. Laskey, 66, of Waterford passed away at 12:15am, Saturday, October 17, 2015, at The Washington County Home after a long illness. She was born March 7, 1949, in Washington County, Ohio, a daughter of John C. and Irene Payne Hendershot.
Ernestine was a homemaker and a member of Salem Methodist Church at Waterford. She enjoyed life and playing tricks on people.
She is survived by her son Joseph Laskey of Michigan, brother and sisters: Walter Hendershot and friend Alice Rummer of Lowell, Ronnie Hendershot of Columbus, John (Jackie) Hendershot, Jr. of Waterford, Gary Hendershot of South Carolina, Dwight Hendershot of Waterford, Albert (Rhonda) Hendershot of Waterford, Gwen Sword of Columbus, Yvonne (Ronald) Erb of Marietta Karen Morse of Marietta and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 infant children, sisters, Cletis Rummer and Joretta Kiggans, and 2 brothers, Jack W. and James Hendershot.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday (Oct. 24) at 10:00 am at Washington County Home with burial of cremains in Waxler Cemetery. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
