Gale Alden Lauer

Gale Alden Lauer, 56, of Dalzell passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 19, 2013.

He was born at Marietta on April 30, 1956 to Christian John and Wanita (Schramm) Lauer. Gale had worked at Pennington Bakery, American Cynamid Sewah Studio and for Doak Farm. He enjoyed farming, planting flowers, hunting, and good home cooked food.

Surviving are his brothers Larry (Linda) Lauer and Dale (Violet) Lauer both of Whipple, a special niece Louise Danner of Winget Run and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Gale was preceded in death by a son Stevie Gale Lauer, brothers Lester Lauer, Sr., and Gary Lauer and a sister Marilyn Ritchie.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Saturday 23th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow in Waxler Cemetery.
