Gary Dean Antill 76 of Marietta went home to be with the Lord on Thursday July 24th 2025 at 9:41am, Surrounded by the Love of his family. Gary was born November 13th 1948 to Garol and Edna Antill previously of Marietta. Gary was a faithful member of the 6th and Washington Church of Christ. Gary was enrolled in the United States Army for 3 years, he Proudly served in the Vietnam war. He retired from RJF international in 2011.

On May 19th, 1972. Gary married the love of his life, Janet Chlorus Holland, whom he is survived by. Also surviving is Gary’s two sons Curtis (Amanda) Antill of Lancaster, and Jeremy (Kristen) Antill of Moundsville, WV. Three daughters Kimberly (Luke) Antill of Marietta, Allyson Null (Mathew) of Belpre, and Janelle Antill of New Martinsville. His Grandchildren Isaiah Antill, Anyalynn Antill, Kinsey Antill, Trenton Tanzy, Trevor Null, Maddison Clarkson, and Echo Tanzy, his nephew Garol Dusz, several nieces nephews by marriage and his Great niece Hannah Anderson (Aaron).

Gary was preceded in death by his parents as well as his sister Clarice Jane Dusz, brother Charles Edward Antill, and Grandchildren Liam and Bridget.

Gary was an avid bike rider. He especially loved his rides with his cousin Floyd and good friend Jim. In his recent years Gary loved, car rides and ice cream with his Dear Friend Kim Bennett, singing zippity do dah, and making others laugh. He will be remembered for this and for the Love he had for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Caitlyn Santer, Dr. Daniel O’Connell, and their wonderful staff as well as The amazing team at Cawley Hospice for the amazing care they have provided.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday (July 28th) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Bill Deem officiating . Friends may call before the service on Monday from 9:00. Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.Lankfordfh.com.
