Gary G. Hupp

Gary G. Hupp, 83 of Marietta, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Grant Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born September 16, 1940 in Macksburg, Ohio, to the late Harry and Alberta (Brown) Hupp.

Gary was a union painter, member of Painters Union District Council #53 for fifty years, He loved to play music with his brothers and entertained people for over sixty years.
Gary is survived by his daughters, Kim (Tom) Seevers and Carol Hupp, sons Buddy (Connie) Hupp of Washington and Steve (Jackie) Hupp of Marietta; a grandson Jason Hupp and great grandchildren Braden, Courtney, and Jacob Howell, all of Marietta. Gary is survived by his brothers Norm, Fred (Debbie) and Terry Hupp. Gary is also survived by his sister-in-law, Donna (Britton) Hupp.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy, of fifty-two years, until her passing on June 8, 2022, and siblings, James, Paul, Dave, Mike, Carol and Joann.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday (July 19) at McClure Schafer Lankford Funeral Home. Friends may call on Friday at the funeral home from 9 am until the hour of service.
