Geraldine Rae “Jake” Farmer-Thompson-Vandall

Geraldine Rae “Jake” Farmer-Thompson-Vandall passed away at Marietta Memorial Hospital on January 16th, 2025.

She was born in Marietta, Ohio on August 4, 1951 to the late Ray and Virginia Farmer.

She is survived by her husband Smitty Vandall, three stepsons, Smitty Jr., Steve and Sam Vandall, four sisters, Karen (Terry) Johnson, Judy (Rick) Beaver, Faye Farmer, Ellen(Dan) Keerps and two brothers Jerry Farmer and Terry Farmer, many nieces and nephews including one special nephew “Bubby” David Allen Beaver.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband John Thompson, sisters Susan Farmer, Cathy Farmer, Patty Stephen, Jeanne Fulton, brothers Dickie Farmer and Doug Farmer.

There will be no services at this time. Arrangements were made at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home and she will be laid to rest at Gravel Bank Cemetery with her family.
