Gladys Maxine Steed Eddy

Gladys Maxine Steed Eddy, 91, of Marietta passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013, at The Arbors at Marietta. She was born on March 1, 1922, in Marietta a daughter of George Edward Steed and Katherine Butz Steed. She was a homemaker.

On March 14, 1943, she married Dale Eddy who preceded her in death on September 12, 2005.

Gladys is survived by one son and one daughter, David Eddy and

Sharon (Don) Gebhart both of Marietta; 5 grandchildren: Christa (Mark) Dillon, Drew Eddy, David (Anja) Gebhart, Stephanie (Brandon) Newbanks, Corey Gebhart and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (September 10) at 1:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Wendy Erb officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
