Glenda Joyce Blake

Glenda Joyce Blake, 64, of Marietta passed away at 2:30 pm. Monday, March 10, 2025, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born February 7, 1961 in Lexington, Kentucky a daughter of Lewis and Mary Maxwell.

Glenda was employed at Magnum Magnetics. She enjoyed her dogs, “Doddle” and “Baby” and Molly” and being around family and friends. She had a big heart and will be missed by many.

She was married 19 wonderful years to Randy “her Darlin” Blake who survives with 3 children: Roger (Ashley) Adams, Seth (Deanne) Adams and Lindsey Lightfritz; grandchildren: mason, Isaac, Wren, Briar, Manda, Sophie, Madison, Seth Thomas and Isaiah. Also surviving are her sister Katherin (Joe) Carpenter and brother Gene (Robin) Maxwell.

Glenda is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Chris Maxwell and her sisters, Caroline Shimmer and Donna Gilbert.

Family will greet friends on Thursday (Mar. 13) in the evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with cremation following. Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.Lankfordfh.com.
