Gloria Sue Brown
Gloria Sue Brown ( Susie), 84, passed away June 21. She was born on January 20, 1941 to Pearley L. Brown and Nora Ethel Schafer Brown.
She was lovingly cared for by the staff at Hillcrest Group Home. She had retired from Wasco Workshop.
Susie had a big heart and brought light and laughter to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed. She has been cremated.
She is survived by her brother Neil Brown and his wife Dixie of Marietta, her sister Phyllis Caplinger of Marysville,Tenn. and sister-in-law Yasuko Brown of Lowell, She has many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Leroy,
Robert and Charles and sisters Beatrice Brown, Betty Sprague, Rose Brown, Jeanne McAtee and Mary Kitts.
A Memorial Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Marietta on July 9 at 2 p.m.. Pastor Ryan Brooks will be officiating.. In lieu of flowers, donations to Gospel Mission Food Pantry at 309 Lancaster St. would be greatly appreciated.
